Rylee McNeal

Rylee McNeal is a theatre artist based out of Des Moines, Iowa. They are a recent graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, where they received a B.A in Theatre Design and Production, and Theatre Performance. Before joining Gulfshore in the Fall of 2025, she worked at Maine State Music Theatre as a flyperson and at Des Moines Metro Opera as a scenic carpenter. Rylee’s favorite productions they have worked on include Flying Dutchman (Des Moines Metro Opera), Beautiful: A Carole King Musical (Maine State Music Theatre), and Heathers: The Musical (Theatre UNI). While not working backstage, you can find them performing Shakespeare, doing drag at The Garden in Des Moines, or spending time with her axolotl (Benadryl) and leopard gecko (Major).
